Founded to close a practical gap
Young Futures Digital was founded in London by people who kept seeing the same thing from different angles: organisations wrestling with problems that off-the-shelf software never quite fits — and paying for it in workarounds, spreadsheets and lost time. The company was set up to build the thing that actually fits: diagnose the problem properly, put the fix in writing, then build it.
We are independent, which means we answer to the work rather than to a sales target. We recommend the simplest fix when the simplest fix is right, and we take on work where we can genuinely make a difference.
We are a focused team of engineers and designers. The people you brief are the people who do the work — there is no account layer, and no hand-off to a delivery team you have never met. We would rather be known for a few things that genuinely work than a portfolio of announcements.
We build for organisations of any size: family firms, logistics and distribution companies, retailers, trades and professional services — and public bodies including local authorities, schools and colleges, NHS trusts, housing associations and charities. Alongside client work we run an independent social-impact strand — safety technology and online-harms education for young people — and the discipline it demands, data protection by design and accessibility by default, is the standard every client project gets.
