Looking Ahead

Where This Goes

The training programmes are the foundation. Once the evidence base is built and the VRU partnership is formalised, this scales into something much bigger - nationally and beyond.

🌍
National Roll-Out
Train the Trainer programme enables organisations across England and Wales to deliver the half-day practitioner version - scaling without requiring our team at every venue. Target: all 18 regional VRUs.
📱
App Licensing Revenue
From Year 2, license the ScrollSense simulator app to schools, local authorities, and national charities as a standalone product - recurring SaaS revenue independent of session delivery.
🎓
Accredited Qualification
Work toward a Level 2 or Level 3 Award in Online Safety and Digital Resilience - a formal qualification young people can add to CVs and personal statements. First of its kind in the UK.
🔬
Ofcom Research Partnership
The anonymous data collected at every session builds the UK's largest youth-reported online harm dataset. A formal Ofcom MOU makes us a recognised data contributor - elevating the programme to national policy relevance.
🌐
Accessible for All
Year 2: British Sign Language version of the app. Year 3: Multi-language support (Bengali, Somali, Arabic - aligned to London VRU priority communities). Accessibility audit to WCAG AA throughout.
🤝
YEF Evaluation
Commission an academic evaluation partner (e.g., Dartington Service Design Lab, who evaluated BAM) for a full feasibility and pilot study - establishing the evidence base needed to unlock YEF funding at scale.
👾
Annual Scenario Packs
Online harms evolve fast. AI-generated abuse, deepfakes, new platform harms - an annual scenario pack update cycle keeps ScrollSense current and gives existing licensees a reason to renew.
Alumni Community
"Online Harms Certified" alumni network - a community where young people who have completed training can become peer educators, participate in research, and progress to paid facilitator roles.

The Big Picture

"Every young person in the UK is living part of their life online - in spaces designed to harm them. The Violence Reduction Unit has demonstrated the appetite and the funding to address this. The Youth Endowment Fund is building the evidence base. Ofcom is enforcing the law. The moment is now. What doesn't exist yet - what has never existed - is a training programme built from a young person's perspective, by a young CEO, with the technology to prove it. That is what ScrollSense is."

"You came in knowing what you were experiencing online. You're leaving knowing why it happens, what it means, and what you can do about it. That knowledge is yours forever."
